In an area of vineyards and history, between the Pyrenees and the
Méditérannéan, Christelle and Eric decided to embark on a new venture.
They settled at the foot of the castle of Pomas, a small picturesque village
of 800 inhabitants 10 minutes south of Carcassonne, famous for its
medieval city and its cassoulet, and 10 minutes north of Limoux, renowned
for its blanquette de Limoux sparkling wine and its carnival.
If you are looking for an area 35 minutes from the sea and 45 minutes from
the mountains, close to the Cathare country and its castles, and the
Corbieres with its vast vineyards, our 2 apartments and a studio, sleeping
from 2-8 people, are available for a peaceful welcoming holiday.
The apartments are located in a building of character and have been newly
created and are well equipped. They are decorated with old
pieces of furniture and in warm provencal colours. The garden has tables,
chairs, barbecue and deckchairs. If you are looking for shade, you will find
it under the fig, walnut and fruit trees in the 100 year old garden.
Living on the spot, we can inform you about excursions, restaurants,
vineyards and activities for the children...
Less than five minutes walk away you will find a bakery, butchers, a grocer
and a post office. Supermarkets are within ten minutes by car. If you wish we can come to collect you at the airport - Carcassone airport is 15 minutes.
